Overview:
Adidas came to me to redesign their signature shoe, the Adidas Superstar, with the opportunity to bring my art and voice into a major cultural moment. My approach was rooted in visual storytelling, using my distinct style to create a design narrative centered on motivation, identity, and inclusion during NBA All-Star Weekend. The project turned the Superstar into more than a shoe. It became a symbol of creative confidence and universal possibility.

Story:
For this project, I treated the editorial like a color palette of ideas, choosing light pink, the hue of a rose in bloom, as the emotional anchor. At the time, this color story naturally aligned with much of my work as an artist, soft yet bold, personal yet expansive. I used that color as a narrative device to shape a visual language that felt intimate and powerful at the same time. The intent was clear, to push a bold statement of encouragement through design. If I can do it, you can do it too. We are all superstars. By blending my artistic sensibilities with Adidas’s legacy during NBA All-Star Weekend, the redesign became a celebration of creative ambition, community, and shared inspiration.
